Sherron Jane Woods

Mrs. Sherron Jane Woods, 65, of Lexington, Tennessee passed away Wednesday March 13, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Friday March 15, 2024 at Central Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Natchez Trace Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Randall Woods, Brother Wesley Woods, Brother Phillip Gulledge and Brother Tim Maness officiating.

The family will receive friends at Central Grove Missionary Baptist Church 610 Central Grove Road Lexington on Thursday from 11:00AM until funeral time on Friday at 11:00AM.

Mrs. Woods was born November 5, 1958 to the late Samuel Troy Wood and Maxine  Hays Wood. Preceded in death by two brothers Jerry Wood and Larry Junior Wood. She was a member of Natchez Trace Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Randall Woods of Lexington, Tennessee; one daughter Amanda (Ernie) Gibson of Lexington, Tennessee; one son Wesley Woods of Gallatin, Tennessee; three sisters Louise (Tom) Hays, Linda Hays and Martha (James) Bobbitt all of Lexington, Tennessee; four brothers Sam (Amy) Wood of Middleburg, Tennessee, Ricky (Gail) Wood of Parsons, Tennessee, Tim Wood of Wildersville, Tennessee and John (Etta) Wood of Wildersville, Tennessee; five grandchildren Amanda Jo Gibson of Lexington, Tennessee, Stormie Gibson of Lexington, Tennessee, Keegan Woods of Gallatin, Tennessee, Troy Woods of Gallatin, Tennessee and Kinsley Woods of Gallatin, Tennessee; mother-in-law Faye Woods Jowers; very special niece Gracie Hays.
